Stone Fence Resort, Ogdensburg

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The beautiful river views were stunning and the property had a pleasant, rustic charm. However, there were cleaning issues upon arrival that detracted from our experience, and the breakfast buffet left much to be desired. Overall, it may not be worth the price tag given the shortcomings.

This hotel offers a charming stay with spacious, comfortable accommodations and a rustic atmosphere. The proximity to the St. Lawrence River and the variety of family-friendly amenities like a playground and pool make it an appealing choice. However, the decor is slightly dated, and some aspects could use refreshing to enhance the overall experience.

I had an urgent need for a place to stay and was relieved to find Stonefence Resort. The location is absolutely stunning, right across from the river with breathtaking views. Although the dining was delightful with a generous breakfast, some amenities like Wi-Fi had issues. Overall, the staff was incredibly accommodating, making the experience quite enjoyable despite a few downsides.
